Garden Haus - Wave workshop 2011 with Gilberto Corretti
In July 2011 I worked as a tutor with architect Gilberto Corretti (among the founders of the radical group Archizoom Associati), at the annual workshops of the Faculty of Architecture (University Iuav of Venice).
The workshop, which consisted of 3 weeks of intensive work with 70 students, has been a wonderful experience in which we explored the relationship between man, architecture, design, play.
The aim of the workshop was not so much to reach the ideal architectural design, rather than to train students as individuals in the approach to a profession and a way of thinking driven by ideas. The fun part was a key issue.
The workshop ended with a final exhibition in our room, transformed for the occasion into a cinema open to everybody. We projected the video below, realized by the students.
Wave is an unique event in the world of architecture, organising a group of 30 summer workshops held by renowned architects and designers, and hosting more than 1500 participants per year.
