Graphic Design Worlds

Graphic Design Worlds is an exhibition totally devoted to graphic design hosted at the Triennale di Milano (Italy) from January to March 2011. The exhibition is the greatest project I took part in while working at Studio Camuffo, and is one of the most important exhibitions about graphic design ever made in Italy (hosting designers such as M/M Paris, KesselsKramer, NORM, Elliott Earls, Daniel Eatock, Metahaven and many others).

The project took almost one year of work and I worked on it by many sides. I followed all the work of concept and preparation, the entire communication of the exhibition, and I took part in some trips around Europe following Giorgio Camuffo (curator of the exhibition) in the meetings with the designers involved.

Moreover, for almost one year I wrote on the blog following the work in progress of the exhibition (see it here), under the direction of Camuffo and Maddalena Dalla Mura.
The blog features more than 30 interviews with people involved in the project and articles about designers and graphic design.

During the year of work, we also organized a meeting with some Italian graphic designers at the Triennale, where we talked about graphic design and the italian context.
In January 2011 I also took part in the exhibition setting up works in Milan. The catalogue of the exhibition features an essay of mine about the Italian graphic designers in the exhibition (see here).
Working on this project was of a great importance for me, and I feel very lucky.
